JUST ONE Tree: Our Pledge to Ecosystem Restoration

We have been working with JUST ONE Tree! A non-profit organisation who are part of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

JUST ONE Tree plants trees, which absorb CO2, restore biodiversity and make the world a better place. They grow forests, regenerate oceans, and educate current and future generations around the world.

These projects make a difference to the people and biodiversity in these areas like Salome from Kenya – “Looking after the seedlings is a source of livelihood, it helped me send my first born son to college”. Another 200 trees have been added to a reforestation project as well as kelp regeneration off the coast of the Philippines and Australia.

Ark Fire Protection’s forest now stands at 600 trees. But more than just a number, the forest creates rural employment, gives homes to wildlife and marine life and will absorb approximately 184.8 tonnes of CO2 as it grows.

Moving forward, we’ll be pledging another 200 trees every quarter! We thank JUST ONE Tree for working with us to tackle climate change and restore our planet. This partnership is not just a one-time effort, but an ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and communities around the world.
