St William has assigned Ark Fire Protection to carry out fire-stopping works at Clarendon, N8, a large regeneration project, to ensure compliance with industry standards and provide 60 and 120 minutes of fire protection, thereby creating a social and sustainable living and working environment with residential, commercial, and public spaces.

Scope of Works

Following the instruction of the (Client), Ark Fire Protection has been tasked with the full completion of fire-stopping works in order to bring the overall standards of compliance at Hornsey Park Place, the second phase of Clarendon, N8, a major new regeneration scheme by landscape-led developer St William, in line with the latest industry specifications.

 

Once complete, Clarendon will deliver 1,714 studio, one, two and three-bedroom homes, alongside a new public park together with a series of landscaped spaces and courtyards. The scheme will also introduce over 100,000 sq ft of commercial space – creating a new London destination that is a social and sustainable place to both live and work.

 

The fire-stopping works being completed provide the new London destination with 60 & 120 minutes of fire protection respectively.

Wall Penetrations

Ark Fire Protection successfully completed the wall penetrations at the St William building as part of their fire-stopping works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing effective fire protection measures.

Floor Penetrations

We successfully executed the floor penetrations at the St William building as part of their fire-stopping works, ensuring compliance with safety standards and implementing robust fire protection measures throughout the structure.

 

Working with Rockwool Engineers

Ark Fire Protection collaborated closely with Rockwool engineers during the fire-stopping works at the St William building, leveraging their expertise and utilising Rockwool standard details and engineering judgments to ensure the highest level of fire protection and compliance with industry standards. This collaboration ensured the implementation of effective fire-stopping solutions throughout the project, enhancing the overall safety and security of the building.
