Ark Fire Protection is seeking a motivated Full-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Peterborough to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Answer and manage incoming calls.
  • Raise Purchase Orders.
  • Create, maintain, and update company records, ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Perform receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, copying etc.
  • Oversee your own inbox as well as multiple shared mailboxes.
  • Complete client questionnaires/new client forms and attach relevant documentation.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Book hotels and transport.
  • Prepare reports and documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments.
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues by performing tasks with integrity and honesty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 2 years office administration experience
  • Experience in raising purchase orders
  • Knowledge of checking invoices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs, as well as working individually or as part of a team

 

Exceptional customer services skills is a must, you’ll be liaising with clients and suppliers by phone and email and greeting visitors and accepting deliveries at the office. You’ll be a well presented, approachable and professional. Excellent organisation and time management is essential for this role. Your attention to detail will be thorough and accurate with the ability to multi-task.

 

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 in Peterborough.

Salary Starting from £24,000

 

 

Salary will be discussed with each candidate and will be set dependant on experience and qualifications.
